Waterfowl, 2021
There's not much to show in 2021, with markets often closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic...
From all appearances, this year may just be the final nail in the coffin of our saga “The Systematic Slaughter of Waterfowl on the Tonle Sap”, as the market vendors--those who sell waterfowl on to the consumer--are all saying that there just aren't any left. Perhaps they're right. We'll just have to wait and see in 2022. One thing is sure, however: there certainly are far fewer birds sold in the market these days, than there were ten years ago.
